Extended Weekend Hours
Have you noticed, we now have extended our hours on the weekend! All of our new wonderful Acupunks have made this possible. If you haven’t come in for a treatment from Orly, Emery, Devon, or Dawn yet, now is the time. See hours below:
Spring Equinox - Tuesday March 19th
As spring unfolds, with its gusts of wind, raising temperatures, and increased daylight, it is typical to feel stirred to action. These spring winds not only stoke our burners, but they can also dredge up trouble in the form of allergies, colds, and emotional unrest. Take a moment to read Dawn’s latest Spring Equinox Blog for some tips about how acupuncture can help!
Sliding Scale FAQ
Patients often ask us for guidance on what to pay in our sliding scale, and we get it, a sliding scale isn’t something most of us come across in our daily life. Our answer though is pretty simple, you decide what you can afford and pay that! We don’t have income guidelines or ask for any income verification. We want our patients to pay based on what they feel is affordable for them, and totally understand that this may change over time. The purpose of the sliding scale is to make sure you can get enough acupuncture to get good results. We want you to feel better and then tell everybody you know that acupuncture works! If you still have any questions about how our sliding scale works, or how/why we offer it, please check out our Sliding Scale FAQ Blog.

Alchemy Massage and Movement Therapy
If you have been getting acupuncture for a while and some of your symptoms have plateaued, it is often a great idea to incorporate some manual therapy into your treatment plan. We are lucky at OAP to have a number of gifted bodywork practitioners in our clinic spaces. One of these bodyworkers, Rebeca of Alchemy Massage and Movement Therapy has been bringing her healing touch to patients from our Laurel Ave. location for many years and is a wonderful resource. Check out her Latest Newsletter for more information about what Rebeca has to say about foraging for hope.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day
We wish you all a joyful and safe St. Patrick’s Day. If you overdo it with the Irish whiskey and corned beef brisket, you can always Book a calming detox treatment on Monday, March 18th. Slainte!
Point of the Month!
We took a little hiatus, but the point of the month is back. This month’s point is Gallbladder 34, or Yang Ling Quan (translated to Yang Mound Spring), and it is one of Sarah’s favorites. Check out Our Latest Blog to see why Sarah uses this point on almost every patient, and how she connects it to pain, inflammation, and decision fatigue.
