New Scheduling Software!
Another reminder that all future OAP scheduling will go through Vagaro (the company that acquired Schedulicity). Please take a minute to read through some important information regarding this swap below.
GRAND AND LAUREL NOW HAVE SEPARATE SEPARATE SCHEDULING LINKS!!
Some Other Things To Know:
You will still be able to book appointments at both locations!
All of your previously booked appointments have been moved over (you may have even received some new appointment confirmations from Vagaro for those with appointments at Grand)
You should be able to log into Vagaro with the same credentials you used with Schedulicity.
The email address you used to sign into Schedulicity is now linked to a Vagaro account and is your login.
You may need to reset your password to log in successfully.
You will use the same login credentials to book at both locations.
This swap will not affect your pre-paid sessions in any way as we track them through another system.
You may want to download the Vagaro App Here, for easy booking in the future.
If you have any issues with the new scheduler you can always call, text or email either clinic to set up an appointment:

Alchemy Massage and Movement Therapy News
If you have been getting acupuncture for a while and some of your symptoms have plateaued, it is often a great idea to incorporate some manual therapy into your treatment plan. We are lucky at OAP to have a number of gifted bodywork practitioners in our clinic spaces. One of these bodyworkers, Rebeca of Alchemy Massage and Movement Therapy has been bringing her healing touch to patients from our Laurel Ave. location for many years and is a wonderful resource. Check out her Latest Spring Newsletter for more information.
Check out Oakland’s Community Reiki Clinic
This local clinic has been providing affordable reiki treatments for the past year and is continuing to offer services on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday each month from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm up the street on Grand Avenue (Across the street from the Safeway). Click Here for more information on how to reserve your spot.
How Much Acupuncture Should I Get?
If you are concerned about how often you should come in for acupuncture to address your issues, feel free to check in with us; we’re always happy to give recommendations for treatment frequency. In the meantime, we have a couple helpful blogs on the subject. Check out this Infographic and this blog on Acupuncture Frequency. And remember, there’s no such thing as too much acupuncture, so if you want to come in even more than suggested to take a relaxing acu-nap, go for it!
Point of the Month!
GB34 - The Chinese name for Gallbladder 34 is Yang Ling Quan, which translates to Yang Mound Spring. This point is the earth point on the wood channel and is the influential point of ligaments and tendons. To see why Sarah uses this point on almost every patient, and how she connects it to pain, inflammation, and decision fatigue check out Her Blog.
